On March 23, Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev informed the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, that the situation at the Bushehr nuclear power plant was difficult but manageable.
"The situation at Bushehr is tense, but under control. This morning, in the morning, we held telephone talks with the IAEA Director General Grossi. We informed him about the difficult but manageable situation on the Bushehr," he said in an interview with the Vesti news agency.
Likhachev added that the third wave of evacuation of Russian employees from the Iranian power plant will begin this week. It is specified that there will be several evacuation waves. It is planned to leave only a few dozen people on the site to ensure the safety of the equipment and its proper reboot.
