RCN announced continued violations of the laws of the Russian Federation by the Telegram messenger

Telegram messenger still does not comply with the legislation in Russia. This was announced on March 18 by Roskomnadzor (RCN).

"Roskomnadzor continues to record non-compliance with Russian legislation by the administration of the Telegram messenger," RIA Novosti quoted the text of the statement.

The head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Maksut Shadaev, announced on February 18 that the Telegram messenger had ignored 150,000 requests to delete information prohibited in Russia. This was the reason that Roskomnadzor decided to slow down the social network due to violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on February 11 that the legislative measures taken in Russia regarding Telegram must be implemented. He also noted that the Kremlin is aware of contacts with representatives of the messenger.
