Iran announced the continuation of attacks on US military bases in the Middle East.
The United States has not stopped using the territories of Iran's neighboring states to attack the Islamic Republic, so Tehran is attacking them. This was announced on March 16 by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Bagai.
"We have been warning the countries of the region in advance for several months, asking them to refrain from using their territory to attack Iran. Over the past 16-17 days, we have observed the constant use by the United States of military bases, facilities, facilities and all its capabilities in the countries of the region to plan and conduct aggressive operations against Iran. This cannot be denied," the Iranian TV channel SNN quoted him as saying on its Telegram channel.
Bagai added that Iran "is not in a state of hostility and does not feel hostility towards the countries of the region," and also seeks to avoid deterioration of relations with them. He stressed that the targets of the Iranian strikes are only US bases and property, and such attacks should not be considered as an encroachment on sovereignty.
On March 14, Reuters reported that the Donald Trump administration rejected proposals from a number of Persian Gulf countries to start negotiations. Iran has also rejected a cease-fire proposal until the U.S. and Israeli strikes end. Several countries have tried to play the role of mediators in resolving the conflict, but the attempts have not been successful.
The Axios portal reported on March 13 that the leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) countries appealed to Trump to end the military operation against Iran as soon as possible amid huge economic losses due to restrictions on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
