A fire broke out in the area of Dubai International Airport as a result of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack. This was announced on March 16 by the press service of the government of Dubai.

"The authorities are currently responding to a fire that resulted from a drone incident near Dubai International Airport. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of all those present," the message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It is specified that no one was injured in the incident. According to the press service, one fuel tank was hit during the attack of the UAV. Specialists are working at the scene of the incident.
