The media reported on the possible transfer of nuclear weapons by France to Finland
Paris may send nuclear weapons to Helsinki if the Finnish government adopts an amendment allowing the deployment of nuclear weapons. This was reported on March 12 by The National Interest (TNI) magazine.
"If the Finnish government successfully accepts the amendment, Helsinki will be able to host French nuclear weapons," the publication says.
According to the magazine, France allegedly plans to transfer nuclear weapons to Finland to deter Russia.
Finland's plans to lift the ban on nuclear weapons transit through its territory became known on March 4. The discussions, as specified, were conducted within the framework of Finland's accession to NATO and the allegedly recorded aggravation of the geopolitical situation.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on this information on March 6, warned that Finland would pose a threat to Russia, which in turn would be forced to take appropriate measures.
