Tel Aviv plans to expand its ground operation in Lebanon and destroy the infrastructure of the Hezbollah movement. This was reported on March 14 by the Axios portal, citing sources.

"Israel plans to significantly expand its ground operation in Lebanon, seeking to capture the entire territory south of the Litani River and dismantle Hezbollah's military infrastructure," the publication says.

It is specified that this could be the largest Israeli ground operation in Lebanon since 2006. As noted by a senior Israeli official, Tel Aviv plans to do in Lebanon what was done in Gaza.

On March 13, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press service reported that the IDF had attacked 10 Hezbollah weapons depots and financial structures associated with the organization. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) also attacked assets of the Al-Quard al-Hassan organization in Beirut.
