"The thermometers showed +12.3 degrees. The temperature continued to rise, and by 15:00 it had warmed up to + 13.8 degrees. The final value of today's maximum temperature will be known late in the evening, when readings from the maximum thermometer will be taken," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message.
As specified, the same warm weather without precipitation awaits Muscovites and guests of the capital over the weekend, possibly setting new temperature records.
