"We waited for the departure flights, thank God, thanks to the embassy and Qatar Airlines, we finally took off today <...> But not everyone was taken out <...> only 18 boarded the flight," said passenger Anna.

The first passenger flight from Qatar in nine days landed at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. It was clarified that the Qatar Airways plane landed at 17:52 Moscow time.

On March 9, the Russian Ministry of Transport reported that more than 45,000 passengers had arrived in Russia from the Middle East over the past week. It is planned to transport over 7.5 thousand passengers from the Middle East to Russia on 33 flights.
