In the Zaporozhye region, a couple was killed as a result of an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on March 8 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

According to him, a Ukrainian drone attacked a passenger car in the city of Pologi.

"As a result of a direct hit by a shell, a married couple who were in the car died," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Balitsky also noted that there were children in the car: a six-year-old boy was injured and was hospitalized. The second child was not injured.

Earlier that day, it was reported that a woman was killed, and 10 more people were injured as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on houses in Vasilevka, Zaporizhia region. An apartment building was also destroyed, and windows were broken in neighboring buildings.
