The popular dopamine bouquet differs from the classic one in its bright and noticeable color palette, which helps to increase the level of happiness hormones. Alyona Ameranova, the founder of the Rosa flower salon, told Izvestia about this on March 4.

According to the expert, a dopamine bouquet causes an increase in the level of happiness hormones not only in the recipient, but also in others due to its brightness. The assembly of such a bouquet has its own characteristics: dopamine compositions are characterized by a large "spreading" in order to convey a feeling of lightness.

"It seems that people are just tired of the fast pace of life, constant stress and gray everyday life, especially in the cold season. I want brightness, warmth and simple joys. Dopamine bouquets just give this feeling. They add colors and evoke pleasant memories of a warm summer," said the florist.

As Ameranova emphasized, when choosing flowers for a dopamine bouquet, seasonality is always the first factor. Therefore, saturated roses, lush single—headed chrysanthemums, dahlias, anthuriums, sunflowers, mattiola are suitable for the bouquet - in general, any seasonal flowers with bright shapes and saturated colors.

"Pink, yellow, orange and purple are best. At the same time, you can use both saturated and more pastel shades. They will add softness and tenderness to the bouquet without losing the overall mood," she said.

So that the bouquet does not seem heavy, accents are added to the composition in the form of small flowers or greenery, which gives a natural aesthetic and vivacity. In addition, the florist noted that the emotional effects of such bouquets are no less significant. They work great as an antistress agent, giving pleasant emotions, warm associations and a sense of inspiration.

"Flowers themselves are associated with pleasant events, care and attention, so they cheer up. Bright compositions and harmonious shades enhance this effect," she concluded.

Yuri Semichastnov, head of courier services at the Flowwow flower and gift marketplace, said on March 2 that the biggest rush to buy flowers falls on the two days before the holiday — March 6 and 7. According to the expert, the optimal time for placing an order is from March 1 to March 3. Flower shops receive new supplies and understand which bouquets will already be collected for the holiday. This allows you to distribute the workload among employees.
