The fire broke out as a result of a drone strike on an oil-producing area in the emirate of Fujairah. This was announced on March 3 in the press service of the emirate.

In a message posted on the social network X (ex. Twitter), noted that the fire broke out after the debris of a downed drone air defense system fell. At the same time, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. Later, the press service added that the fire was localized.

"The fire has been localized, and work in the area has resumed as normal," the Fujairah government said.

On March 3, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced an unmanned and missile strike on an American airbase in the Sheikh Isa area of Bahrain. It was clarified that the designated targets were hit by three missiles and 20 drones.
