Alexey Mukhin, Director General of the Center for Political Information, pointed to the collapse of globalization amid the Gulf War.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, March 2, the expert suggested that the strikes on Iran could have been a distraction by Donald Trump against the background of internal problems in the United States and were largely initiated by Israel.

In his opinion, negotiations with Tehran are formal in nature: the United States offers dialogue, and then strikes together with Israel, leaving Iran in a weak position and creating the risk of regime change.

The expert noted that the possible participation of European countries could lead to further escalation, and the ultimate goal of the pressure could be to destabilize the situation inside Iran. Mukhin added that such events increase global distrust between states and push the world towards a situation where "everyone will be on their own."

Earlier in the day, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the dispatch of experts from Britain and Ukraine to repel Iran's attacks. According to him, in order to stop the Iranian threat, it is necessary to destroy missiles in their storage depots, or destroy the installations used to launch them, writes NSN. Starmer recalled that the United States, with Britain's permission, can use its bases for operations against Iran. Life.ru . Meanwhile, the United Kingdom itself will not participate in it, notes 360.ru .

Also on March 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin and King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa discussed the unprecedented escalation around Iran. The Russian leader declared his readiness to help stabilize the situation and noted the threat to the security of Arab states, the website reports. kp.ru . The parties stressed that due to the actions of Israel and the United States, the region was on the verge of a large-scale conflict, Regnum news agency notes.

On March 1, the Gulf states warned Iran of a possible response within the framework of the regional security system. Six Arabian monarchies declared their readiness to take the necessary measures to protect their interests, including countering possible military aggression from Tehran.

At the same time, the leaders of Germany, France and the United Kingdom threatened Iran with retaliatory military measures if attacks on their allies in the Middle East continued. The document notes that the parties have already agreed with Washington and partners in the Persian Gulf to coordinate actions if necessary, RT reports.
