Jaecoo has announced prices for the most affordable model

Prices for the new J6 crossover will start from 2.29 million rubles. This was announced on March 2 in a press release of the Chinese brand. The press service emphasizes that such conditions will be relevant until the end of March.

The crossover is available in Russia in three trim levels — Asset, Comfort and Prestige. At the start of sales, all versions received a 1.5 turbo engine (147 hp), a 6-speed front-wheel drive robotic transmission.

The basic equipment includes 17-inch wheels, fully LED optics, air conditioning and a winter package: heated front seats, heated windshield, windshield washer nozzles and steering wheel. The equipment is complemented by front and side airbags, rear parking sensors, a downhill assistant, a digital dashboard and a 9-inch multimedia screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Comfort package (2.5 million rubles) offers dual-zone climate control, an electric tailgate and a rear-view camera. The multimedia screen is bigger — 13.2 inches, and the wheels are 18 inches. Artificial leather is used in the interior decoration. The driver's seat is equipped with an electric drive, and the rear sofa is heated.

The top-end Prestige version (2.65 million rubles) received a panoramic roof, ventilation of the front seats and double-layer front windows to reduce noise in the cabin. The equipment list is complemented by an all-round viewing system and a set of intelligent ADAS assistants, including adaptive cruise control. The number of speakers in the audio system has been increased from six to eight, and there is wireless charging for a 50-watt smartphone.

Four body colors are available: Black Pearl, White Mother of Pearl, Wet Asphalt and Dark Emerald.

The J6 is equipped with a 480-liter trunk (up to 1,180 liters with folded seats) and a tow bar for towing trailers weighing up to 750 kg. Interior decoration materials are resistant to wear from animal claws, hypoallergenic and easy to clean.

On February 26, it became known that AGR Holding and Defetoo completed the technical re-equipment of the production site in Shushary, formerly owned by General Motors (GM). The new site will organize the production of a full cycle of cars of the Russian brand Jeland. The plant in St. Petersburg was acquired by AGR Holding in 2024.

By the time the modernization work began, its buildings were virtually empty structures, according to a press release. The previously installed equipment was completely dismantled, and there was no engineering or technological infrastructure.
