A suspect in a car bombing in Fryazino has been detained.
The suspected person involved who blew up a car with a man inside in Fryazino, near Moscow, near a railway crossing, was detained. This was reported in the press service of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region.
According to the investigation, an explosive device was attached to the bottom of the victim's car by a man in the night hours on the eve of the incident. In addition, two weeks earlier, the same person had damaged the wheels of a vehicle.
It is noted that during the inspection, video from surveillance cameras, plastic and metal parts of the car were seized for the production of explosive expertise.
On February 10, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Moscow region reported an explosion inside a car. According to the Izvestia source, the explosion occurred in a Nissan Patrol car. The Investigative Committee also reported that the victim received a shrapnel wound to his shin and was hospitalized.
As noted by Izvestia correspondent Elena Khmura, the driver of the car that was blown up at the railway crossing did not reach only a few meters to the highway, where there is usually heavy traffic.
