Fink announced the construction of a technopark for airships in Tolyatti

An industrial technopark for the development and production of airships will be established in Tolyatti. This was announced on February 26 by Pavel Fink, Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region.

"At the Tolyatti site, the investor plans to develop and produce airships for various purposes. Such vessels provide cargo delivery to hard—to-reach regions of the country, are suitable for operation in the Far North and can replace other types of transport," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that during the meeting on the creation of the technopark, issues of implementing such large-scale plans, as well as the advantages and prospects of airships were considered.

The capital's incentive program for job creation will attract 2.7 trillion rubles.

On February 25, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that Russia had completed the certification of the Tu-214 medium-range airliner and was putting it into production. He noted that the government continued to restore competencies in the field of aircraft construction: during the year, specialists conducted intensive tests of aircraft based on advanced domestic solutions and materials.
