Kyrgyz President dismisses Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Health

Bakyt Torobayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Kanybek Dosmambetov, Minister of Health of the country, were dismissed. This was announced on Tuesday afternoon, February 24, by the press service of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.

"Bakyt Torobayev has been relieved of his post, <... Kanybek Dosmambetov has been relieved of his post," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that Torobavev was also removed from the post of Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the republic. The reasons for these steps have not been disclosed.

On February 10, Japarov signed a decree on the dismissal of Kamchybek Tashiev from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Later, on February 16, the head of Kyrgyzstan ruled out the return of the dismissed deputy chairman of the Cabinet of his state, with whom he "remains friends."
