The State Duma called Callas' demands on Russia in Ukraine paranoia
The statements of the head of the European Diplomacy, Kai Kallas, about the list of requirements for Russia in Ukraine are paranoia. This was announced on February 20 by Leonid Ivlev, a State Duma deputy from Crimea.
"Another startup from pioneer Callas has broken through another paranoid bottom," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Ivlev expressed the opinion that European diplomacy "cannot do more damage" after such statements.
On the same day, Dmitry Belik, a deputy of the State Duma from Sevastopol, a member of the International Affairs Committee, said that the head of the European diplomacy was "howling at the moon" out of anger and impotence, presenting a list of demands to the Russian Federation. He added that the European Union had long ago "dropped out" of the negotiation process on Ukraine.
On February 19, Kallas sent a document to the EU countries listing the requirements for Russia in Ukraine. It was noted that the requirements included a numerical reduction of Russian troops and their withdrawal from some territories, similar to Ukraine.
At the same time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called Callas evidence of a bad century of European diplomacy. According to him, her work as head of the EU's foreign policy service confirms that the agency is experiencing a deep decline.
