Security measures have been strengthened in educational institutions of the Perm Region after a seventh-grader attacked a peer with a knife at a school in the city of Alexandrovsk. This was announced on February 19 on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Russia.
"Security measures have been strengthened in educational institutions in the region," the publication says.
It is noted that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Perm Region has created an interdepartmental commission to analyze the causes of the incident.
The fact that a seventh-grader stabbed a peer became known earlier that day. The Investigative Committee (IC) has opened a criminal case into the incident. The Ministry of Health of the region clarified that the student injured in the attack was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
