Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces and the Popular Front evacuated residents of Dimitrov and Krasnoarmeysk

Russian military personnel (RF Armed Forces) of the fifth main command post (OKP) of the 51st Army, together with the Popular Front, evacuated residents of the liberated Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov. Footage of the operation on February 18 was shown by Izvestia correspondent Evgeny Bykovsky.

It is noted that people were taken out of the danger zone, despite the shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). At the moment, people are housed in Selidov, where the volunteers of the Popular Front have delivered more than three thousand aid kits.

"Now 16 people have been brought in, two of them minors. During the way back, we were subjected to three attempts to destroy our equipment using UAVs [unmanned aerial vehicles] of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," said a fighter from the 5th OKW of the 51st Army with the call sign Winter.

According to the evacuees, they had to hide during the shelling of the Ukrainian drones. There are many minors among them.

In recent months, the joint efforts of the Russian Armed Forces and the Popular Front have managed to evacuate several thousand people from Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the liberation of Kharkov by representatives of the North group of forces. In addition, it was noted that fighters from the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depths of the enemy's defenses and liberated the village of Krinichnoye, Zaporizhia region.

The servicemen of the assault groups of the 80th separate motorized rifle brigade of the North group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces, who liberated Kharkov, told the details of this operation. Russian attack aircraft, using Russian-made secure communications equipment and winter camouflage suits, conducted a covert assault on the positions, which took the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants by surprise.
