Psychologist Yulia Belkina on Monday, February 16, told how not to harm your body with emotions.

In an interview with Radio 1, the expert explained that temperament — whether choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic or melancholic — is an innate feature of the nervous system, whereas character is formed during life and can change depending on circumstances.

According to her, in order not to "get lost" in your own emotions and not harm your health, it is important to take time to rest and monitor your diet. The psychologist stressed that in the rhythm of big cities, recreation is often underestimated, although this is a wrong approach. She also noted the need for a full—fledged diet - without replacing food with sweets and snacks, including meat, fish and vegetables.

Belkina added that sleep, nutrition and rest are the foundation of health, regardless of personality type. According to her, when these conditions are met, a person manages his temperament better.

On the same day, Belkina noted that both excessive emotionality and "retention" of emotions can cause harm. According to her, in such cases, the body is working hard, notes 360.ru .

Earlier on February 16, psychologist Rodion Chepalov warned that the "men's set" for February 23 could upset and offend. According to him, one of the most common mistakes is a gift based on a template, without taking into account a specific person. These can be both cheap and expensive items. Gifts that carry an evaluative component or a veiled message can also lead to a negative reaction, writes Moscow 24.

In an interview with RIAMO, Chepalov also mentioned the negative consequences of banning video games. He stressed that an outright ban on video games rarely reduces aggression and often has the opposite effect.

On February 10, Ilya Slobodchikov, a family psychologist, said that gambling addiction often begins as an ordinary entertainment, but it can quickly develop into a serious addiction that affects behavior and lifestyle. Rapid involvement in the process and difficulties in getting out of it are particularly dangerous, writes NSN. The game is often used as a way to relieve intense tension and stress, which also increases the likelihood of addiction.

Earlier, psychologist Elena Bogatova said that experiencing emotions incorrectly can be detrimental to the body. The specialist explained that it is important to live emotions, not to suppress them: to do this, you need to relax, take a few slow breaths through your nose and exhale through your mouth, observing your inner feelings until the tension goes away. If the experience is too strong, it is worth letting the body move freely — you can cry, scream or dance to safely release feelings. Pravda.Ru .
