Two people, including a three-year-old girl, were killed and seven more were missing as a result of a tourist boat crash in the Brazilian Amazon. This was reported by the Daily Mail on February 15.

According to the newspaper, the boat capsized a few minutes after departure. 25 rescuers, three boats and eight fire trucks, a police boat and an ambulance were involved in rescuing tourists, the material says. In total, more than 70 people were rescued.

In January, a pleasure boat carrying French tourists capsized in Oman. As a result of the incident, three people were killed, two more received minor injuries. According to preliminary data, the catamaran capsized at a distance of 2.5 nautical miles (4.6 km) from the port of Sultan Qaboos in Mattrakh.
