Uranium, which representatives of French corporations mined in Niger, can be transferred to Paris at any time. This was announced on February 14 by the President of the West African state, Abdurrahman Chiani.

"France has its own 63.4% of 156,231 tons. If they want, we can send it to them tomorrow, and we'll even pay for the transportation ourselves. Because they were here when it was done," he said on RTN TV channel, the video was posted on YouTube.

Chiani clarified that the mineral itself belongs to his country "by the will of God," it "was and will be Nigerian." The President pointed out the importance for his state to remain honest and, even despite the threats and obstacles that arise, not to deviate from the planned course towards independence.

On February 12, the chief of the military staff of the President of Niger, Amadou Ibro, announced that his country was going to war with France. According to him, Paris was caught intending to start military operations first.

Later, Chiani pointed out the intentions of French President Emmanuel Macron to overthrow the country's authorities. The president of the West African state clarified that this was due to the fact that he and his people had chosen the path of "self-sufficiency and sovereignty."
