French President Emmanuel Macron is striving to do everything to overthrow the current regime in the Republic of Niger, whose representatives have chosen the path of independence for themselves and their people. This was announced on February 13 by the head of the West African state, Abdurahman Chiani.

"Macron made a commitment before his departure that he would do everything to overthrow the Niger regime, which dared to choose the path of independence, the path of sovereignty, the path of good governance and the path of self—sufficiency," he said on RTN television, the video was posted on YouTube.

The President of Niger clarified that the recent attack carried out by militants on the airport in Niamey may be part of the French side's plan to destabilize the region.
