The NASA space Agency and SpaceX have confirmed plans to launch Crew-12 to the International Space Station (ISS) on February 13. This was announced on February 11 on the website of the NASA press service.

"The launch is still scheduled no earlier than 5:15 a.m. (13:15 GMT) eastern time on Friday, February 13, aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and Falcon 9 rocket from launch complex 40 at Cape Canaveral in Florida," the statement said.

It is specified that the weather conditions correspond to 85%, and the main problem is cumulus clouds.

The eight-month expedition starts on board the Dragon. The ship's commander is NASA astronaut Jessica Meir, and the pilot is Jack Hathaway. The crew also includes Sophie Adeno from the European Space Agency and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev.

The Crew-12 mission will be SpaceX's 12th rotational flight to the ISS and the 13th manned launch under NASA's Commercial Crew program.

On February 10, the Roscosmos press service announced that the launch of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft with the crew of the Crew-12 mission to the ISS was postponed to February 13. It was noted that due to weather conditions, the launch will take place at 13:15 Moscow time from the Cape Canaveral cosmodrome in Florida.
