Indian-made Jawa motorcycles have been certified in Russia
In Russia, the certification of motorcycles of the Czech brand Jawa, which are currently produced in India, has been completed. This was reported on February 8 by the Motor publication with reference to the Vehicle Type Approval (OTT) issued by the importer.
"According to the OTS, four motorcycle modifications have been certified in Russia, including the 300 CL, Forty Two, 350 CL and 42 FJ," the article says.
It is specified that the Jawa 300 version has a four-stroke engine with a volume of 295 cc and a capacity of 23 hp. Other modifications have a 334 cc engine. cm, the power of which is 29-30 hp.
The issued OTS gives the right to import motorcycles into Russia in large quantities, as well as to carry out their official sales. The document was issued by a company from Podolsk, it is also indicated by the representative of the manufacturer Jawa in Russia and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Prior to that, on February 4, the Aurus Merlon electric motorcycle was certified on February 4 and received an OTC, which will launch mass sales of the model. The motorcycle manufacturer is the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI State Scientific Center. The length of the model is almost 2.3 m, width — 1.9 m, height — 1.5 m.
