The lives of the Indian students injured during the attack in Ufa are not in danger. This was announced on February 7 by the rector of Bashkir Medical University Valentin Pavlov.

"Two received outpatient care, two are in the hospital today," the rector said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Earlier on February 7, Ufa law enforcement officers detained a teenager who attacked the dormitory of one of the medical schools on Repin Street with a knife. According to Izvestia, he held neo-Nazi views, and six people, including one child, were injured in the attack. A criminal case has been opened.

During the arrest, the young man stabbed two policemen. In addition, he inflicted bodily injury on himself. He was admitted to Children's Hospital No. 17. The head of the surgical department of Ufa Hospital No. 17, Aybulat Alibayev, said that the attacker of the dormitory is in stable but serious condition, he has been placed in intensive care.
