Three students are in serious condition at the City Clinical Hospital No. 10, and two more are in moderate condition at the State Clinical Hospital No. 18. The child was admitted to the Children's City Clinical Hospital No. 17. According to sources, one of the students was held hostage, but later released.

Eyewitnesses said that the attackers mainly attacked foreign students. According to one of them, "they waved a knife and wounded these students." The witnesses also noted that there were traces of blood in the dorm rooms, and the doors had been broken down.
