The Kremlin announced the date of the second round of talks in Abu Dhabi.

The second round of trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States will be held on February 4-5. This was announced on February 2 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"It took an additional alignment of the schedules of the three sides, and now Wednesday-Thursday [the meeting] will actually take place in Abu Dhabi. We can confirm this," Peskov said.

He also noted that initially the start of the second round was supposed to be last Sunday, February 1.

The day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also announced that a new round of trilateral talks would be held on February 4-5. At the same time, the first round was held in the same place on January 23-24.

After the first round on January 28, Peskov said that the Russian government had positively assessed the beginning of direct contacts between Moscow and Kiev. In addition, he noted that the negotiations on Ukraine in Abu Dhabi turned out to be very difficult and sensitive.
