At least 49 people were killed in a landslide in Indonesia, 15 people are missing. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on January 31.

A landslide caused by heavy rains descended in the village of Pasir Langu, located in a hilly area about 100 km southeast of Jakarta. The disaster destroyed more than 30 residential buildings.
Abdul Muhari, a representative of Indonesia's National Disaster Management Agency, said that search and rescue operations were being complicated by ongoing rainfall and new small landslides. Drones and heavy machinery are used for the search.
