Trump declared the strength of NATO in US membership

"Like it or not, NATO is as good as we are. If NATO doesn't have us, NATO is not very strong," Trump said.

Despite his disagreement with the actions of the alliance, the American leader believes that NATO is good in itself.

"I disagree with many of the things they did, but it was all done before I came. I think that NATO is good," the US president stressed.
