Mazda entered the top 10 in terms of sales in the Russian car market
Mazda, whose cars are not officially supplied to Russia, has entered the top ten in terms of sales in the Russian market. This was reported on January 19 by the analytical agency Autostat.
So, according to the results of the third week of 2026 (from January 12 to January 18), 538 new Mazda cars were sold in Russia. In the overall brand rating, it took the ninth position, ahead of the domestic brand Solaris (395 cars).
Lada is the leader in the rating with an indicator of 5338 cars sold per week. It is followed by Haval (2,896 units), Tenet (2,604 units), as well as Geely (1,385 units) and the Belarusian brand Belgee (771 units). Toyota (754 units), Snap (701 units) and Jetour (582 units) are next ahead of Mazda.
In total, 22.6 thousand new passenger cars were sold in the Russian Federation in the third week of 2026, which is 4% more than in the same week last year.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that by the end of 2025, 12.5 thousand new passenger electric vehicles were registered in Russia, which is 30% less than in 2024, when 17.8 thousand such vehicles were sold.
