Kharchenko advised residents of Kiev to temporarily move due to heating problems.
The population of Kiev was advised to consider the possibility of temporarily leaving the city in case of continued heating problems. This was announced on January 18 by Alexander Kharchenko, Director of the Ukrainian Energy Research Center.
"I would advise you to look for a place to temporarily relocate...> If it still has not been possible (to fix the heating. — Ed.), then it may not be possible in the near future. And this is a real threat," the Ukrainian newspaper Strana publishes a video of Kharchenko's statement.ua" in the Telegram channel.
According to him, the authorities must take responsibility and recognize the scale of the problems with heat supply.
Kharchenko said on November 5 that it would be necessary to evacuate the population in Ukraine if thermal power plants (CHP) were turned off in Kiev and the city would remain without heating for three days at a temperature of -10 degrees in winter.
