Belarusian oppositionist Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and her office plan to move from Lithuania to Poland. This was reported on January 17 by Sputnik Lithuania, citing sources in the politician's team.

"This is due to the security level lowered at the end of last year by the decision of the Lithuanian authorities for the ex-presidential candidate of Belarus," the article says.

Currently, the security of the ex-presidential candidate of Belarus is provided by Lithuanian police officers. Previously, security was provided by the Leadership's Security Service, which is responsible for protecting the country's top officials, including President Gitanas Nauseda. The final decision on the relocation of the Tikhanovskaya team has not yet been made.
