GAC has announced the S7 crossover and three more models for Russia.

In 2026, GAC plans to introduce four models in Russia, including hybrid crossovers and an electric sports car. The company's press service announced this in its Telegram channel on January 16.

The central premiere of GAC in Russia is the GAC S7 hybrid crossover, the first model of the premium line created on the new modular EV+ platform. This is a hybrid model with a 1.5-liter turbo engine and one or two electric motors, in the latter case, the all-wheel drive version has a capacity of 501 hp.

Models of the Aion and Hyptec sub-brands will also debut in Russia: the GAC Aion V all-electric compact crossover and the GAC Hyptec HT sports car. Following this, the large hybrid crossover GAC S9, presented at the Guangzhou International Motor Show, will enter the Russian market.

Currently, the GAC model range in Russia includes GS3, GS4 and GS8 crossovers, the Empower sedan and the M8 minivan.

The day before, an all-wheel drive modification of the Evolute i-Space hybrid crossover went on sale in Russia. The model is offered in one configuration in a five-seat version at a price starting from 2.87 million rubles (including a state subsidy of 35%, no more than 925 thousand rubles).
