AvtoVAZ has supplied 33 Lada e-Largus vans to the Mosgortrans State Unitary Enterprise fleet. The electric vehicles will be used for operational repairs and maintenance of Moscow's surface urban transport infrastructure, AvtoVAZ said in a statement received by Izvestia on January 13. The ceremonial transfer of the Lada e-Largus took place at the Mitino electric bus station.

AvtoVAZ noted that Lada e-Largus is the first Russian electric car with a domestic battery of deep localization. The batteries were developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation, and the control and temperature control systems are also Russian. The electric car is produced at the Lada Izhevsk production site in a full cycle, including welding, body painting and assembly.

A synchronous permanent magnet electric motor with a peak power of up to 120 kW is installed on the Lada e-Largus. Two traction lithium-ion batteries are located in the engine compartment and under the floor of the body, which allows you to fully maintain the useful volume of the trunk (2540 liters). The e-Largus instrument panel provides a digital combination for monitoring the electric vehicle's systems, charge level and power reserve, which is about 320 km.

The day before, it became known that AvtoVAZ resumed work in a standard five-day operating mode after the New Year holidays. This year, the company plans to start production of the Lada Azimut crossover, equip the Niva Legend SUV with a new 1.8-liter engine, and also launch the Lada Vesta model in the Sport modification.
