A man died as a result of a bus collision in Kislovodsk. This was reported on January 12 in the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

"On Trout Farm Street in the city of Kislovodsk, a 72-year–old Hyundai bus driver traveling along the Nezhinsky-Kislovodsk route ran over a 78—year-old pedestrian who was moving along the edge of the roadway in the same direction," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the pedestrian, who did not have retroreflective elements on his outerwear, died on the spot from his injuries. According to traffic police, the bus driver, who is a local resident, has no reputation for being a serious traffic violator and has 24 years of driving experience. The circumstances of the accident are being established.

On January 11, the Karelian State Committee for Life Support and Safety reported that nine people, five of them children, were injured in a collision between two passenger cars on the Kola federal highway in Karelia. It was clarified that rescuers conducted an inspection of the accident site and helped transport the injured to ambulances.
