Dealers named the most promising new cars in Russia in 2026

Since the SUV (crossovers and SUVs) remains the most promising segment in the Russian automotive market, the most significant event for it in 2026 may be the launch of the Lada Azimut crossover. This opinion was shared by Alexander Shaprinsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, the Autostat analytical agency reported on January 12.

According to Nikolai Ivanov, director of the new car sales department at Rolf, among the promising models for 2026 are the large Voyah Taishan crossover, the Omoda C3 compact crossover and the new Exlantix crossover.

In turn, Ilya Petrov, Director of Retail Sales at Avilon AG, noted that a significant update of the model range is expected in the Russian car market this year. In addition to Omoda, new products will be presented by Jaecoo, Tenet and Changan, and the latter will launch sales of models of its Deepal sub-brand.
