- Lavrov fulfilled the dreams of children from Lugansk and Voronezh as part of the "Wish Tree" campaign
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov fulfilled the dreams of 16-year-old Vladislav from Lugansk, who wanted to attend the Stories about Russian History program, and 17-year-old Polina from Voronezh, who wanted to meet with the host of this program, Vladimir Medinsky, as part of the annual Christmas Tree of Wishes charity event.
A rich cultural program was also organized for the children. As part of the campaign, the teenagers were able to visit the Center for the History of the Russian Diplomatic Service, the historical park "Russia — my History", the State Historical Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery, where they were given guided tours.
Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov also took part in the Christmas Tree of Wishes campaign on December 20. As part of it, he took a postcard from the branches of the Christmas tree from the sisters Vasilisa and Elizabeth Rudakov, who live in Kursk. The girls dreamed of visiting the Kremlin New Year's Tree and the Central Patriot Park. In addition, he took a postcard from Ilya Zhulanov from the Saratov region, who wanted to visit the capital and visit the Kremlin.
