Lavrov warned of the risks of accelerated militarization of Japan

Russia advises Japan to carefully assess the consequences of accelerated militarization. This statement was made on December 28 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Recently, the Japanese leadership has really taken a course towards accelerated militarization of the country. The detrimental impact of this approach on regional stability is obvious," TASS quoted Lavrov as saying.

According to the politician, the Russian side recommends that the Japanese neighbors carefully weigh everything before making any rash decisions.
