In the Esenyurt district of Istanbul, a bus went into a ditch, killing four people. This was reported on December 27 by TRT Haber.

It is specified that as a result of the incident, four people were killed, seven more were injured, three of them are in serious condition.

"The victims of the accident were taken to the nearest hospitals in ambulances," the newspaper notes.

The cause of the accident, according to preliminary information, was rain: the driver lost control, and the bus left the roadway.

In Japan, on December 26, as a result of a major accident involving 56 cars in the city of Minakami, one person was killed and 26 were injured. The incident occurred on the Kan-Etsu expressway. Due to the accident, traffic in certain sections of both lanes was temporarily blocked.
