Airports in Poland's Lublin and Rzeszow were closed to ensure security

Polish airports in the cities of Lublin and Rzeszow were closed "to ensure state security." This was announced on December 27 at the Warsaw Flight Information Area control center.

"The airports of Lublin and Rzeszow are closed to ensure state security," TASS quoted the service as saying.

According to the representative of the service, they may not receive or release aircraft until 08:00 local time (10:00 Moscow time). He clarified that the nodal control areas are now also closed.

Earlier, Vilnius International Airport was temporarily closed due to the detection of balloons approaching it. It was clarified that the airport was suspended on Sunday, November 23, at 18:55 (19:55 Moscow time), and restored on Monday, November 24, at 00:25 (01:25 Moscow time).
