The Russian side continues to believe that negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis should not become public. This was announced on December 24 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with RBC.

"No, there will be no comments here. We still believe that everything should be conducted behind closed doors," Peskov said.

This is how he commented on the Bloomberg material, which reported on Russia's desire to change the 20-point peace plan developed by Ukraine and the United States.

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky revealed for the first time all 20 points of the peace plan to resolve the conflict. According to the document, the agreement should be based on recognition of Ukraine's sovereignty, a non-aggression pact with Russia, and international security guarantees modeled on Article 5 of the NATO Charter.

Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), visited Miami on December 20. There, he met with the special envoy of the US President Stephen Witkoff and the son-in-law of the American leader Jared Kushner to discuss the Ukrainian issue.
