The full version of the peace plan of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky assumes the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from Donbass by decision of the Verkhovna Rada. This was reported on December 24 by the newspaper "Country.ua" in his Telegram channel.

It is clarified that the expanded version of the plan provides for the possibility of the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops by a decision of the parliament, after which a "free economic zone" can be created in this territory. The document also mentions "international forces" that should be deployed along the current front line.

The publication notes that the paragraph concerning the Territories is rather confusing. In particular, it is unclear when exactly the decision on the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be made — before or after the ceasefire, which international forces should be deployed on the border, and who will control the demilitarized zone in the future.
