The funeral of actor Anatoly Lobotsky will take place on December 25.
People's Artist Anatoly Lobotsky will be buried on December 25 at the Troekurovsky Cemetery, the press service of the Mayakovsky Moscow Academic Theater reported on December 24.
Before that, the theater will host a farewell ceremony for the actor. It will be organized in a closed format from 09:00 to 11:00 on the Main Stage.
"At the request of the family, we would like to refrain from any filming during the farewell ceremony. Therefore, accreditation for a civil memorial service is impossible," TASS reports.
Lobotsky died at the age of 67 after a serious illness, it became known on December 20. The press service of the Mayakovsky Theater emphasized that the actor had been one of the key figures in the theater's troupe for decades, and each of his roles "became an event."
