The applicants for the Service Award have moved to the stage of cross-examination

On December 23, the applicants for the III All-Russian Municipal award "Service" entered the stage of cross-examination. As part of it, each participant who has passed the initial analysis will be able to evaluate the projects and management decisions of colleagues from other nominations and regions of the Russian Federation.

"This provides an opportunity to adopt successful practices and adapt them to the conditions of your municipality. But the main thing is that such expertise significantly increases the objectivity of evaluating projects and initiatives, since the jury consists not only of experts, but also representatives of municipalities themselves who work directly on the ground and are well aware of the specifics of the problems and needs of residents," said Irina Guseva, co—chair of the VARMSU, member of the Presidium of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the Development of Local Self—Government.

She noted that this also creates a mechanism for additional guarantees of fair selection of the best award projects.

The cross-examination stage will last until January 18. It is mandatory for all applicants for further participation in the Service Award.

The winners will be awarded at the forum "Small Motherland — the strength of Russia" in April.

Earlier, on December 1, Guseva noted that the All-Russian Municipal Award "Service" is aimed at identifying, supporting and disseminating the best social practices in the regions of Russia. The project aims to identify those who, on a daily basis, "without demanding awards," solve key government tasks at the municipal level: from organizing teen clubs to supporting socially vulnerable groups.

On November 10, it was reported that more than 15,000 applications were submitted for participation in the third season of the All-Russian Municipal award "Service", established by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the organizers, the largest number of applications were received from the Volga, Central and Siberian Federal Districts. Among the leading regions are the Belgorod and Penza regions, the Kemerovo Region — Kuzbass, the Krasnoyarsk and Perm Territories, the Saratov Region, and the Udmurt Republic.
