On March 31, the public vote for the winners of the second All-Russian municipal award "Service" starts on the Gosuslugi portal. It will last until April 13, and anyone can support the best projects, the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) told Izvestia. The number of applications has doubled compared to last year. 30 winners will be awarded in April at the All—Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland - the strength of Russia". This award is part of the state's policy on the sustainable development of territories and improving the quality of life of citizens.

How can I vote for the Service Award winners?

The popular vote for the winners of the second All-Russian municipal award "Service" starts at Gosuslugi on March 31. Anyone can support the best projects, initiatives and management decisions until April 13. Acceptance of applications started on December 17, with a total of 41,313 applications received, both individually and as a team. Compared to last year, the number has more than doubled, the VARMSU told Izvestia.

To participate in the selection of winners, you need to log in to the state portal and on the page "We decide together. Voting", go to the section "Popular vote in the framework of the All-Russian Municipal award "Service". One project can be selected in each of the nominations.

The All-Russian municipal award "Service" is being held on behalf of Vladimir Putin. The event is organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The first deputy head of the award, Sergey Kiriyenko, is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the award.

— The number of applications has more than doubled this year. The figures show the fate of people, their stories of service in a small village or a large regional center," Irina Guseva, co—chair of the VARMSU, member of the presidium of the Presidential Council for the Development of Local Self—government, told Izvestia.

After collecting the application, they underwent an initial analysis, then a cross—examination, where applicants evaluated each other's initiatives. Next, the Expert Council of the award voted, which was attended by more than 300 representatives of government, education and public organizations. Based on the results, the top 100 projects, management decisions and initiatives were determined: ten finalists in each of the ten nominations.

— It is important that the award supports initiatives reflecting the inner desire to serve people and their municipality. For example, in the nomination "Great Heritage — for future generations" we saw how carefully and with what respect historical memory is preserved throughout the country. These are projects by schoolchildren, historians, museum workers, and journalists," Evgeny Grachev, deputy head of the Russian President's Internal Policy department, told Izvestia. — Someone creates cartoons about the heroes of their village, someone organizes search expeditions and implements patriotic projects. Such initiatives form a living bond between generations and help us understand who we were, who we are, and where we are going. After all, historical memory is not only about the past, but also about the future of the country.

Among the innovations of this year is the opportunity to nominate team projects. This made it possible to present more vividly the initiatives implemented by the efforts of entire teams. As a result, more than half of the team applications were in the top 100.

What nominations are presented in the Service Award?

In the second Service Award, awards for creating a comfortable living environment are provided in the nomination "Development of the territory — the well-being of residents". For the involvement of citizens in these issues, there is a category "Everyone's initiative is a common success." Projects implemented jointly with businesses are awarded in the "Strengthening Partnership — Expanding Opportunities" nomination. Building effective communication and feedback with the public will be noted in the category "Direct conversation — trust in government."

Special attention is paid to supporting initiatives aimed at identifying leaders of the municipal community, supporting aspiring professionals and forming a new generation of professionals. Thus, in the nomination "Young personnel in the service of the country" the contribution of novice employees will be noted, and in the category "Institute of Mentoring — for the future of the country" — the implementation of the target mentoring model.

Along with government support measures, it is important to note and encourage initiatives that address the strategic issues of our country — saving people and strengthening family values. Thus, the nomination "Family well—being is a priority of the state" will highlight efforts aimed at improving the quality of life of couples with children. In the nomination "Caring for the families of heroes — a contribution to a common Victory", initiatives aimed at helping veterans and military personnel of the SVR will be supported.

They are increasingly less likely to be relegated to the role of "secondary" parent in society, experts suggest

— In the new nomination "Courage and heroism — for the benefit of serving the Motherland" we saw that there is a place for heroism in peaceful life. It shows the stories of ordinary workers, when they are in the workplace, saving others. There are examples when, after a gas explosion, the heads are the first to arrive at the scene of an emergency and, together with the emergency services, sort out the rubble. In the border areas, municipalities helped evacuate residents and only then went after their families," Irina Guseva emphasized.

To support initiatives aimed at educating the younger generation on the basis of traditional spiritual and moral values, the award's Supervisory Board established the nomination "Great Heritage for Future Generations." The award is intended to recognize projects that help young people develop a sense of belonging to the country's history and culture, as well as strengthen interethnic and interfaith unity.

— The topic of mentoring is important for us — there are also strong applications in this area, representing a systematic approach to solving the issue of experience transfer and to the development of the institute of mentoring. The nomination "Great Heritage — for future generations" confirms the fidelity to the chosen guidelines — to preserve our history and culture for future generations undefiled. And municipalities are taking on this role, carefully preserving the memory of the heroes of past years and our contemporaries," summed up the co—chair of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government.

The award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the Service Award will be held in April at the All—Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland - the Strength of Russia". 30 finalists will receive the award. The municipal agenda today is focused on the sustainable development of territories and improving the quality of life of citizens, and the Service Award has consolidated the status of the main award for the municipal community.
