Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF), instructed to consider changing the preventive measure for a teacher accused of harassing schoolchildren in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, A. I. Bastrykin, instructed the head of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg, P. S. Vymentsov, to initiate the issue of changing the measure of restraint of the accused on her own recognizance and to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case," the statement said.

The Investigative Committee recalled that the criminal case against the girl accused under Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violent acts of a sexual nature") is being investigated by the investigative authorities of the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in St. Petersburg.

Last week, the Vyborg court of St. Petersburg sent a teacher suspected of seducing two schoolchildren into custody. It was clarified that the girl was accused of committing a crime under Part 5 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violent acts of a sexual nature"). She did not admit her guilt.
