Ex-Minister of Trade of Moscow region sentenced to probation for assault

The former Minister of Trade of the Moscow region, businessman Mikhail Khubutia, who attacked his beloved with an axe, was sentenced to a year of probation. This was reported to Izvestia on December 22 by a source familiar with the situation.

On May 17, Khubutia voluntarily appeared at the investigative authorities and confessed to attacking his ex-lover. The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow placed him under house arrest for a period of one month and 11 days.

On June 26, Khubutia's house arrest was extended in the case of an attack on an ex-lover until July 28. At that time, the investigator motivated this by the fact that the defendant was accused of a moderate crime.

In addition, Hubutia partially compensated for the damage to Wang's health and pleaded guilty. The amount was 500 thousand rubles. It is noted that the girl's treatment has not yet been completed.
