There were six people on the boat that capsized at the Mytishchi yacht club, including Viktor Averin, the deceased ex-leader of the Solntsevskiye united criminal group (OCG). This was announced on December 21 by a source of Izvestia.
According to him, lawyer Viktor Perekatov and Azerbaijani businessman Shamistan Ismail Oglu Aliyev, bodyguard Ivan Abramushin and 18-year-old model Ekaterina Leonova were on the ship. Viktor Khmarin Sr. was also there, who suffered hypothermia and bruises.
Previously, they were returning to the yacht club from an inspection of the forest area in Pestovo on the shore of the reservoir of the same name. The cause of the shipwreck could be its contact with the ice, but it is not known exactly what happened. The boat is still upside down.
