Earlier that day, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that frosts and snowfalls, according to preliminary forecasts, would return to Moscow in the middle of the coming week. According to him, snowfalls are expected in the capital in the last days of the outgoing 2025, which will form a "solid" snow cover.

In turn, Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, told RT that by the end of this week, the temperature in the capital will remain around zero degrees, after which frosts may return.
